HOW TO FIND US

By car from Milan on the high way "Tangenziale Ovest":

• Take the high way towards Bologna.
• Before reaching Parma turn towards La Spezia.
• Before reaching La Spezia turn into towards Livorno and then towards Rome.
• The high way ends in Cecina (109 km).
• Take the Via Aurelia (SS1) towards Rome/Grosseto.
• Leave the Via Aurelia at the exit Braccagni.
• After the exit turn left and then, after approx. 1 km, turn right towards Montemassi.
• Follow the straight street about 5 km and then leave the roundabout at the 2nd exit, again towards Montemassi.
• After approx. 200 m turn right towards SASSOFORTINO.
• Follow the serpentines about 5 km until you reach the village Sassofortino.
• Turn right onto the main street. After about 1 km there is a little market place with trees to the left and to the right a little shop "Alimentari".
• Turn into the street right next to the Alimentari. Careful, ist is a sharp decline. This is the Via della Mengona.
• After 20 m the street parts into two. Stay to the left and go down the hill.
• After approx. 500 m the street parts again. Go to the right and pass a couple of houses until the street ends and you reach the last house to the left.
• You have reached Podere Guinzano (E. und D. Garthe).

Important Notice:

The road leading down from the village is a dirt track and quite steep. Please drive slowly and carefully with a suitable car.
